Kathy Kimpel
In my 28 years as an educator, both in the classroom and as a school administrator, it was evident that children who lived in homes below the poverty line thrived best when a school and community invested in these families’ basic needs and provided increased academic and emotional support. After I retired from the school system, the desire to help vulnerable families have a community support system led me to a job with Catholic Charities. Working here brings me joy in providing administrative support for our hard-working staff who care for our clients, all of whom are looking for a place to call home.
